Characteristic

Each VENOTEKS ® THERAPY product is produced on a separate electronic machine using a complex computer program. For the health and comfort of consumers, modern materials are used in the production of compression products of this brand: cotton, DuPont Lycra ®, microfiber, nylon, etc. The compression parameters of medical knitted products are embedded in their manufacturing technology.

pharmachologic effect

pharmachologic effect- venocompression.

Action on the body

The impact of medical compression hosiery normalizes the functioning of the natural muscle-venous “pump” of the legs. The pressure of the knitwear on the veins narrows their lumen, supports the valves of the veins, increases the rate of return of venous blood to the heart, prevents the reverse flow of blood through the veins and prevents the formation of blood clots.

The measured pressure of the VENOTEKS ® THERAPY knitwear relieves the soft tissues of the legs from swelling, leaving no room for fluid accumulation. As a result, fatigue and muscle pain go away.

Socks, stockings and tights create an additional frame that supports the veins and protects them from excessive stretching by constant blood pressure.

The compression effect of VENOTEKS ® THERAPY knitwear has been confirmed by clinical studies and is provided for 6 months if the instructions for use and care are followed.

Component Properties

The therapeutic properties of VENOTEKS ® THERAPY are based on the fact that each product evenly across the entire circumference of the leg exerts pressure (compression) on the soft tissues and then on the walls of the veins. The compression is precisely calculated, dosed and measured in mmHg. Art.

The most significant difference between VENOTEKS ® THERAPY and any supporting knitwear is that the compression is physiologically distributed along the leg (ankle - 100%; lower leg - 80%; knee - 50-60%; thigh - 20-40%).

Venoteks Trend 2C405 compression tights are used in the complex treatment of varicose veins in pregnant women. Tights relieve fatigue and heaviness in the legs, reduce swelling, pain and cramps, and prevent the development of complications.

Venoteks Trend 2C405 compression tights have compression class 2 (23-32 mm Hg) and a closed toe. Typically, tights (unlike golf) are used when the veins on and above the popliteal fossa are affected.

What is special about Venoteks Trend 2C405 compression tights:

  • Made especially for pregnant women. The tights have a special stretchable insert in the abdominal area and a wide elastic band that does not put pressure on the abdomen.
  • Easy to put on. The tights are transparent and quite thin, so they are easy to take off and put on.
  • Suitable for warm weather. The breathable knit makes the tights thin and light.
  • Hypoallergenic. The tights are made from safe materials using LatexFree technology.

Work technology:

Compression tights Venoteks Trend 2C405 create graduated pressure on the soft tissues and veins of the legs: 100% in the ankle area, 70% (of the pressure on the ankle) in the upper part of the lower leg, 40% on the thigh. Due to this, the outflow of venous blood from the feet to the heart is restored. With the help of such compression, blood circulation in the legs is correct throughout the day, reducing the risk of developing varicose veins. In fact, you will feel this compression effect from the first day of wear - your legs simply will not get tired in the evening, even with long walking.

Anatomical knitting according to the shape of the leg ensures a tight fit of the tights and proper distribution of compression along the leg.

Indications for use:

  • Chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) with dilated superficial veins in pregnant women.
  • Varicothrombophlebitis.
  • The presence of non-inflamed seals and varicose veins.
  • Prevention of deep vein thrombosis during pregnancy.
  • Postthrombophlebitic disease.

Frequently asked questions about the use of anti-varicose knitwear VENOTEKS ® THERAPY

Question: What is the incidence of varicose veins in Russia?
Answer: In Russia, every second woman suffers from varicose veins. One of the main reasons for this virtually “national problem” is that compression therapy begins to be used when the disease has already affected the veins of the lower extremities. An illustrative example of the correct approach to the prevention of varicose veins is Europe. There, preventive anti-varicose tights and VENOTEKS ® THERAPY socks begin to be worn as early as adolescence.

Question: What is the difference between preventative and therapeutic products?
Answer: The main difference between preventive and therapeutic knitwear is the level of pressure that socks, stockings or tights exert on the area of the lower third of the leg. VENOTEKS ® THERAPY preventive class knitwear (Lites) is purchased in pharmacies, therapeutic classes (1st, 2nd and 3rd) are prescribed by a doctor. It should be remembered that when “cobwebs” and “spider veins” appear, preventive knitwear is no longer effective! The doctor will most likely try to stop the development of varicose veins and prescribe compression knitwear of the 1st or 2nd class. It depends on the symptoms of the disease.

Question: Who is at risk for varicose veins?
Answer: VENOTEKS ® THERAPY preventive knitwear is specially created for those who are healthy and do not want to suffer from varicose veins. Everyone who is included in the following risk groups should wear it:

  • Hereditary predisposition to venous disease,
  • Occupational hazards (work on your feet and sedentary work),
  • Overweight, pregnancy and postpartum conditions,
  • Taking hormonal medications (including contraceptives),
  • Walking in heels, carrying heavy objects and driving a car,
  • Airplane flights, long bus excursions
  • Work in the country, in the garden, repair work, etc.

Question: At what age should you wear compression stockings?
Answer: It is necessary to wear knee socks, stockings and tights VENOTEKS ® THERAPY as early as possible - from 17-19 years of age. Do you remember? The first call is heaviness in the legs and swelling of the legs!

    Question: What is graduated compression?
Answer: This is one of the main differences between anti-varicose jersey and regular compression jersey. Anti-varicose products are designed and manufactured so that at the ankle the compression is 100%, towards the knee it decreases to 75%, at the hip there remains 50% compression, and at the groin 20%. Due to this pressure gradation, anti-varicose jersey significantly increases the rate of blood outflow from the veins of the lower extremities. Regular compression hosiery applies equal pressure throughout. It improves the silhouette, but has nothing to do with medicinal products.

Question: How long should you wear anti-varicose jersey?
Answer: Persons in risk groups should wear preventive products at all times. Medicinal products prescribed by a doctor are worn for 6 months, after which a re-examination is necessary. After surgery for varicose veins, compression hosiery is worn constantly, and the doctor periodically adjusts the degree of compression.

Question: How to distinguish therapeutic knitwear from regular knitwear?
Answer: The packaging of therapeutic knitwear must indicate the compression class and pressure in millimeters of mercury; regular knitwear only has the density marking of the product in DEN. If you see “therapeutic” knitwear with DEN markings and an indication that it is “anti-varicose”, it is a fake.

Question: Where can you buy high-quality anti-varicose jersey?
Answer: High-quality anti-varicose knitwear, for example, the VENOTEKS ® THERAPY series, manufactured by Elastic Therapy Inc., USA, can be bought in Moscow pharmacies (if it is preventive knitwear with a compression of 10-15 mm Hg). Therapeutic knitwear VENOTEKS ® THERAPY 1st, 2nd and 3rd compression classes are purchased in specialized orthopedic salons.

Question: Where to buy lightweight knitwear for the summer?
Answer: Indeed, in the summer, thick knitwear on the legs causes some discomfort. Therefore, the VENOTEKS ® THERAPY range of anti-varicose knitwear includes light transparent knee socks, stockings and tights, including for pregnant women, which perform all therapeutic functions, look elegant and are comfortable in hot weather. The entire range is presented in specialized orthopedic salons.
